Have you ever had a lazy day? In which there is nothing in the world you want more than just to lay in your bed, read a book, watch a nonsensical movie, maybe even some of “The Office”? Yes. That is exactly how I feel today. Looking outside, one of the only days here in Mendoza in which there is NO sun, people are in their winter jackets, and without an ounce of blood in my body even willing to do abs, and all I want to do is stay in.
Here, where I am living, the actions that go along with a “lazy day” may not be possible. For example, I do not have internet in my grandmother’s apartment. Still…I know. If you are wondering how I am posting this, I took the initiative to go to the supermarket/mall to use the internet in order to potentially download SOMETHING that I can watch while in my grandmother’s apartment. Or rent a movie. Or something. Secondly, I am not usually left alone to enjoy a book. Unless I say that I am about to take a nap, but I do not think naps last 6 hours. Therefore, the lazy day might not occur to my liking.
However, I think today I will be productive with my lazy day. I will figure out how to finally send cards/packages safely to the US. I will write some letters. Make a friendship bracelet. Maybe even take have some time to read!
