10.09.2011

You know those weeks in which it seems like everyone around you is slightly more tired than usual?  Well…it was one of those weeks.  Many of my friends, including myself, have been training a lot more the past two weeks so I assume it has finally caught up to us.  Although, I have been speaking with guests in our hotel, my friends/co-workers outside from the club, even my forever-living grandmother and it seems as if everyone is just tired. It could be the weather.  It turned to spring/summer within a week so the change in temperature could be affecting us.  It could just be the time of the year.  This would be the equivalent of May in Washington, DC or Princeton, NJ (although not humid).  The time in which students are almost done with school for the year, in which adults are getting tired of the monotony of their daily jobs, and a time in which athletes are just ready to burst into the summer season.  We are all just tired.

This weekend consisted of work, running (because it was too cold to swim in the outdoor pool), and, well, absolutely nothing.  Drinking lots of mate.  Listening to music.  Watching some of The Office and 30 Rock.  Nothing.  And, I honestly did not want to talk or see anyone.  Not because I am anti-social, I just needed time to myself.  To not think…at all.  And that is exactly what was accomplished this weekend.  I know that many of you have had those days.  I have had that week.

K bye.
