Shopping…what a complicated task for someone like me to accomplish here in South America. No matter how much half-Argentinean I am, I am still half-German. The Germans are neither little nor petite people. Let alone the genes that are not in my favor, but the 15 years of swimming (every single day) do not assist the massiveness that is my back nor the strong legs that I will never be able to shrink. It is not that I want to lose weight. That’s not it. I just wish more women like me existed down here. Then, maybe, I would be able to find and purchase shoes that actually cover the bottoms of my feet and some jeans that don’t end at my shins. Great.
Since I did not bring everything I own to Argentina, particularly shoes (as I was not expecting to stay for an extended period of time), I am limited as to proper attire I can wear. I brought heels, which is somewhat dumb on my part since, well, I am taller than 76% of the guys. (I just LOVE heels so much. It kills my soul that I may not be able to wear heels happily for a period of time.) However, I did not bring flats. So, when I am planning my outfits to wear to outings at the beach in Chile, I literally did not have anything to bring other than flip flops. What I may not have mentioned previously is that here in South America EVERYONE dresses well, particularly in Argentina, and EVERYONE is attractive in Argentina. Therefore, flip flops are somewhat of a no-go in fashion.
k bye.
